Refugee Support Services

Refugee Support Services work with refugees and other ORR populations to gain economic independence by addressing barriers to obtaining or maintaining employment. Case management services may include: 

  • Benefits enrollment (food, cash assistance, health insurance)
  • Referrals to English language instruction
  • Interpretation and translation
  • Navigation of child care and educational resources
  • Citizenship and naturalization services 

RTAC

MO-RTAC services work with state partners to provide case management and job club training opportunities for Office of Refugee Resettlement eligible families who are eligible for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).

Support Services for Refugees 60+

Services ensure that older refugees have access to activities, services, and resources that support overall physical and emotional health, help integration into new communities, and support independent living. Services may include:

  • Access to activities and engagement
  • Nutrition services and meals 
  • Transportation
  • Interpretation and translation
  • Citizenship and naturalization services
  • Home care and respite care
  • Elder abuse prevention
