DESCRIPTION:Think Globally. Eat Locally.\nJVS’s annual Global Table fundraising event is a celebration of the life-changing work JVS does for thousands of people each year. Global Table celebrates the diversity that refugees contribute to Kansas City and ensures JVS can continue to help people in our community achieve the stability and satisfaction that comes from work. Please consider investing as a sponsor for this event and supporting our work to help people along their journey to self-reliance. Our programs include: \nWorkforce Development\, encourages prosperity and economic stability through education\, employment and entrepreneurship. \nCommunity Integration\, empowers all people to contribute to their community\, and encourages community accessibility and inclusivity. \nHealth & Wellness\, engages individuals in activities that promote healthy bodies\, minds and relationships. \nThis year\, Global Table will be held on Sunday\, May 7 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center. This evening will include delicious food\, cocktails\, and silent auction prizes.
